First-Class Trekking Experience with Nepalorama: Personalized Service, Flexibility, and Expert Guidance

Absolutely first class service. We elected to go with our own guide and porter so we could move at our own pace. Krishna, (who knows the trails well having himself started as a porter in his teens), was everything you could ask for in a guide and nothing was too much trouble. He was also extremely patient with my need for rests on the lengthy ascents. (He offered to carry my backpack, but I would have been unable to return home with my head held high had I accepted!).
Unfortunately weather conditions sabotaged our first domestic flight and the company put in place a timely alternative road transport solution so the remainder of our trek was exactly as scheduled. The communication was first class, explaining what was happening to impede us, (not the making of the Company I should add), why, and the contingency plans available. This meant we were always aware of what the problems and solutions were and how they would work. We were also able to witness at first hand Krishna pulling out all the stops to assist another group that had been impacted by the weather and get them on schedule, I have no doubt that this is a company ready to use all the resources available to them to get things going when weather places obstacles in the way. A comforting thought indeed. In addition, email correspondence in the build up to the trip was attentive and timely by Anna, based in Europe, who addressed all our queries and concerns resulting in us being much better prepared.

Krishna was always ever ready to take photos of the key moments and iconic views with us in the foreground, something much appreciated as we often forget and I lean away from constantly pestering others to take our photos.
Although they offer fixed packages, they are flexible about you booking your own hotels at either end of the Trek and amend their fees accordingly, and if you stay on a few days extra will still do the inclusive airport transfer. (That said, leave the tea hose bookings well alone, they were well chosen and a highlight. Krishna was helpful with the menus and ordered food in advance for us ensuring it was served efficiently, as well as bringing a good supply of fresh fruit).
Not the largest trekking company in Nepal, but certainly our first choice, with good reason, going forward.
