Monsoon Trekking Success: Annapurna Base Camp with Nepalorama

I did the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Nepalorama in July 2022. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Nepalorama for trekking. We had to go in the monsoon season and Nepalorama were very professional in warning us about the difficulties of trekking in monsoon season. In practice we were lucky and had very good weather (raining mainly at night and late afternoon, if at all). The great benefit of going in July is that the trails are largely empty of other trekkers and you will have the experience mainly to yourselves. All the arrangements (meeting at airport, flights to Pokhara etc) went like clockwork. And when we wanted to alter our schedule at the end of the trek, spending extra days in Kathmandu, this was organised with no fuss at all. Our guide on the trek, Krishna, was great fun to be with as well as being very attentive to our needs. He knows the trek intimately and was able to set the right pace for our fitness and encourage us up the steepest climbs. This all made the experience truly memorable – the views and scenery are amazing – and very enjoyable! Go and go with Nepalorama!
